Jon JenkinsFinance Director

Bio

I have a keen interest in most sports but since hanging up my goalie gloves I’ve played a bit of golf and play off an 18 handicap.  I try to play at least once a week even in the winter.  A keen Liverpool supporter who sneaks to the odd Bournemouth match.

I have 3 amazing children who are completely individual and keep me on my toes.  As a family we enjoy nothing more than wondering around National Trust grounds and houses.  The picture above is one of my favourite places to visit which is Stourhead.

Before running Smart Team I worked in the ‘commercial’ world working in a range of businesses from small family run hotel groups to large Plc’s in the leisure industry.  I never stopped long at any one place as I’d often do myself out of a job by improving process, procedures and systems.  Something that stands me in good stead now helping others do the same with their businesses.

Interesting Fact

At the ripe old age of 29 Jon had a hip debridement operation at Bournemouth Hospital leaving him bed ridden for 2 weeks, on crutches for 6 weeks and no impact sport for 12 months.  That was the end of his amateur football days and the beginning of expanding waist!
